The journey is more rewarding than the destination.
-Some Logical Brain
First things first, thank you for joining me. I truly appreciate your time more than you’ll ever understand.
Me? I’m a husband, father, son, man, leader, follower, student, teacher, visionary, thinker, and an awful proud Texan. You may have already deduced the previous given the name of my site, but I just wanted to clear that up from the start. We’re going to be dealing with whatever topic sparks my brain; Leadership, Manhood, Fatherhood, Technology, Innovation, Texas, etc.
This is an experiment. An experiment to see if people still enjoy engaging independent constructive thought. To see if there is life outside of the never-ending drama cycle of social media. Here, you might get some technical knowledge, inspiration for your next endeavor, life advice, calm during confusion, or maybe even agitation (depending on your temperament). What you won’t find here is an echo chamber. I do not follow the crowd, I question the crowd.
I was once told that I was a ‘Guru.’ To me, this means I’ve attained a level of knowledge which puts me at the upper echelon in a particular category. As exciting as it is to be called that, I humbly disagree. I believe no one is ever truly a ‘Guru.’ There are things in life you will never learn, and there are things that are simply outside of our comprehension (big floating rock comes to mind). Sure, I may know a little about a lot, but I still know very little about even more. Funny how that works.
Either way, again, I’m glad you joined me. This blog is not meant to be a cure all, so absorb with caution (as you always should). We won’t solve all of the worlds problems here, we may not solve any, but we’ll most definitely learn from one another. Learning IS the journey, and I thank you for riding along with me!
